Here are the members of Marine Queens, the mermaid punk-rock band I posted earlier. I tweaked up the designs a bit, and I plan to do more art with these ladies!

I’m colouring them in right now, and I’ll post it up tomorrow with a detailed description of each character, but for now I’ll give you guys something brief.

So from left to right we have:

Waverly: Bass. Quiet and reserved. The brains. Joined the group of friends after finding out their shared love for punk-rock. Is an ‘expert’ on human culture.

Delilah (DeeDee): Drums. Corals’ best friend and moral compass.

Coral: Guitar and vocals. Leader and bad influence, but a good friend. She’ll get you in trouble, but she’ll sure as hell get you out too.

Echo: Backing vocals and keyboard. She’s tiny and cute as a button. Is a giggler, but is tougher than she looks.

I’m terrible at infographics but had to do one for my class. Curious about mermaid performers and where you can find them?

Drawing my own angelfish as mermans was a really nice excercise for a start.
I love my babus.

Absolutely gorgeous mermen. A truly creative combination of the triangular body of the angelfish and the elongated body of the mermaid/human.
