I did tell you I love to draw mermaids. This assignment was pattern and I did hand drawn damask and Japanese patterns for the scales of the mermaids. This drawing was pretty selfish, I got to draw all my favorite things [mermaids, boobs, dead things] and was fun for me to do. I also included a little detail shot to show the drawn patterns.
